I spent most of my career running businesses for Target.  A job I loved.  But my dreams were bigger.  And now I'm living them...

Throughout my career I have relied heavily on mentors to help me navigate everything from the development of successful strategies, to how to get the next job, to how to deal with getting bullied at work. (Yes, that happened!) One of my favorite mentor memories was when I got the email that I was going to interview for my very first promotion at Target. (Yes, you had to interview for almost every promotion.) I called my go-to mentor right away to ask no less than 1 million questions for how to land the job. I left her a voice mail and she called me back later that day apologizing for the short delay… she’d just gotten off a plane and was calling me from Turkey!!!! (Thank you, Stacia!) A shining example of true mentorship - showing up for your people, no matter what. I have tried to model this for all of my mentees in my life - - kind of a way to pay it forward. I never would have achieved half of what I did were it not for the people in my life who’ve believed and invested in me.

The reality is, creating and navigating a successful career is hard. There is no field guide, no how-to, no rules of the road. It’s all on us to figure it out. It can feel overwhelming. Finding mentors who can help and have been there and done that isn’t always easy.  But, they’re out there and they want to help … there is just no mechanism to connect. And unless you’re connected, getting those pearls of wisdom, the guidance you need, or the ear to help you sort out your career, is a challenge.

So … I called two of my best thought partners and dream chasers to brainstorm. From there, The Catalyst Circle was born. Quite simply, we’re creating a forum to bring all of the rock stars to all of the people. Listening to and gaining exposure to accomplished executives and innovative entrepreneurs who have navigated issues, problems, and obstacles that we all go through is a game changer.

The Catalyst Circle gives you a peek behind the curtain for how successful people have gotten to where they are. We will pack our events with inspiration and action, but more importantly real talk, no b.s. and just the frank rules of the road for how people have navigated their lives. You’ll walk away inspired and ready to level up where you’re going.

Our first event is on Thursday, 3/14 in Wayzata. We’re diving deep into why your personal brand will make or break your career. The panel is chock full of legendary leaders that will share everything they’ve learned along the way to find their own success. Snag your tickets here: https://www.thecatalystcircle365.com

So honored to launch this with my girls Carly and Kayd. We believe in transparency, authenticity and empowering others. Follow us at The Catalyst Circle.
