Okay ladies, today is our day!  Women’s Equality Day is celebrated today to commemorate the 1920 adoption of the Nineteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which gives women the right to vote.  98 years ago women rose up, let their voices be heard, and asked to be treated equally.  But our work still isn’t done.

Today we honor those who have paved the way for us, but we also recognize our own responsibility in continuing their work into the future.  If we all join in the movement, our seemingly small actions will have big impact.   Explore what that means for you:

  • Be a model for our daughters.
  • Ask for the promotion.
  • Take the risky project.
  • Speak up in the meeting.
  • Know your worth.
  • Do your best.
  • Unapologetically chase your dreams.
  • Stand up for your rights.
  • Don’t let that comment slide.
  • Ask your partner for help.
  • Set your goals high.
  • Don’t settle.
  • Know you are enough.
  • Don’t give up.

We’re just getting started. Let’s do this together.  Empowered women empower women.  “There is no limit to what we, as women can accomplish.”  - Michelle Obama

Let's empower women every {damn} day!
